5 Questions With … Dan Pegg

5 Questions With … Dan Pegg

Dan Pegg has plenty on his plate.

It doesn’t hurt that he has a keen attention to detail and a natural ability to stay cool under pressure – two traits that also make a great editor.

Before joining AAA in August 2018, Dan proofread, edited and managed content, serving as a copy editor for Re.ad Publishing and newsroom editor for Business Wire. He earned his B.A. from University of Massachusetts Boston, where he studied English literature and creative writing.

Today, this well-rounded email marketing specialist spends his workdays HTML coding, tackling software platforms, collaborating with the creative team, working with business lines and adhering to a strict quality assurance process to ensure the success of AAA Northeast email campaigns.

We recently sat down with Dan to find out a little about his attitudes toward food, plants, phone apps and travel. But the most burning question of all, whether he’s on team Daniel LaRusso or Johnny Lawrence, remains a mystery.

Q: What’s your favorite food to make?

Lately, I’ve been adding basil leaves to all my mac and cheese. It’s a great combination.

Q: Do you have a hobby or collect anything?

I have a lot of houseplants. It started when I found an abandoned pothos plant on the side of the road and brought it home. I’ve just been collecting plants ever since.

Q: If you had to delete all your apps except for three, which ones would you keep?

PlantNet. It’s a plant-identifier app that’s been pretty useful with plant collecting. If I had to pick three, I’d have to keep PlantNet, Instagram and Snapchat

Q: If you could travel to anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?

I’d love to see the ruins of Pompeii.

Q: Have you watched or read anything good lately?

I’m all caught up with the recent season of “Cobra Kai” on Netflix. It’s a pretty good closure story to the “Karate Kid” series.

Q: Are you going to watch the Super Bowl? Any predictions on who will win?

I am not planning on watching the Super Bowl. Who’s even playing?
