Gentle, Beneficial BATS! A Wildlife Talk

October 29, 2019 EDT

Free

As part of Pawtucket’s Mill City Haunts, the National Park Service will be on the Old Slater Mill campus Tuesday, Oct. 29 to host a wildlife talk on bats.

Bats don’t want “to suck your blood” or get stuck in your hair. And contrary to popular belief, bats are not “blind.” These fascinating creatures play an important role in our ecosystem here in Rhode Island and across the world. We will debunk the myths you may have heard about these important mammals.

Come learn the not-so-spooky truth about bats.

The talk begins at 5:30 p.m.

This event is free, and all ages are welcome!
