Huntington Choral Society Virtual Concert Season

An event every week that begins at 8:00 pm on Monday, repeating until December 14, 2020
Rehearsals will include several musical selections from Bach’s Christmas Oratorio and Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms to Frank Ferko’s Trois Chansons de Guerre.
Participants will receive direction on posture, breathing, vocal warm-ups, music theory/history, sight reading,and section rehearsal break out rooms. Recorded voice part tracks and accompaniments will be available for self-practice.
There is no need to feel intimidated by this new format. Education and support for the technology will be provided, along with a Technology Team that can be called upon for assistance or tutoring.
Guest speakers, weekly socializing segments and meditation exercises round out this exciting and challenging season, sure to fulfill the needs of music lovers young and old.
No audition is required to join! Two selections from the Christmas Oratorio will serve as our performance product of to be posted on online media.
Ongoing rehearsals will be held Monday nights from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Please plan to attend the entire rehearsal time.
