KNIGHTS, MAIDENS & MOOR: BROADWAY AT THE CASTLE –  LOOKS TO THE BRIGHT SIDE OF LIFE IN CABARET REVIEW

One Of Boston’s Newest Theater Production Companies Brings Together Over 50 Years of Regional Theatrical Experience For Live Performances in Hammond Castle’s Great Hall

Hammond Castle Museum is excited to present a new, cabaret review of beloved Broadway show tunes that either relate to life in a castle or to the many famous guests the Hammonds once entertained while living in their seaside castle.

Directed by Bobby Kerrigan, performances of this lively, toe-tapping ensemble will run on Friday, Nov. 5, Saturday, Nov. 6 and Sunday, Nov. 7. Tickets are $35 for general seating and $40 for premier seating.

This review will offer two masters of ceremony who will narrate the evening and offer background information on the songs performed as well as facts and lore of the Hammond’s guests. Dressed in formal black tie, the cast includes: Tom Edmonds, April Baldwin Foley, Andrew Hankinson, Rebecca Kenneally, Bobby Kerrigan, Kelly Murphy, Sean Murphy, Becky Ruccio, Thomas Smoker and Crystal Van Artsdalen. Chris Lawnsby will be accompanying the cast on Hammond’s original 1920 Chickering piano.  Guests will be toe-tapping along to nearly two dozen songs including Gershwin, Camelot, Hunchback of NorteDame, Disney and Spamalot.

Hello Friends Productions is one of the newest theater production companies on the North Shore, having only produced two other shows thus far. It is the creative partnership of Bobby Kerrigan, Kelley Murphy and Thomas Smoker all who offer over 50 years of combined experience in regional theater.

Hammond Castle Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is not handicapped accessible. The Museum is dedicated to preserving the building, grounds, and legacy of John Hays Hammond, Jr. It is open daily through the end of October and on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in November and December. The Museum offers numerous educational and cultural events throughout the season and is available for private and corporate rentals.  It is located at 80 Hesperus Avenue, Gloucester, Massachusetts.
