Met Live in HD: Luisa Miller

The Met: Live in HD is the Metropolitan Opera’s series of live performances transmitted to theaters in seventy countries around the world. Live telecasts feature the full performance along with backstage interviews and commentary.

Conducted by Bertrant de Billy, the revival of Luisa Miller, stars Sonya Yoncheva in the title role opposite Piotr Beczala as Rodolfo in a story about a young woman who sacrifices her own happiness in an attempt to save her father’s life. The cast also stars Plácido Domingo as Luisa’s father.
