Outsider Art and Uncommon Objects Appraisal Day
June 23, 2019 EDTFree
Bring your outsider/self-taught art and uncommon objects to the Morris Museum for free opinions of value from Rago Auctions. In addition to work by outsider and self-taught artists, Rago’s Miriam Tucker and Marion Harris will evaluate objects ranging from artist’s articulated mannequins to automata, from botanical and scientific models to sideshow and carnival items, from the erotic to the spiritual – for potential inclusion in an October 2019 auction.
RSVP for an appointment between 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. or walk in from 2- 4 p.m.. Up to three pieces of property per person or four pieces per couple will be accepted. Rago will do its very best to accommodate everyone and has sold many wonderful pieces brought to its open appraisal events.
If you do choose to sell a piece of property appraised at the Museum, Rago will share 1/3 of its commission with the Museum as a thank you. To RSVP, send photos instead of attending the event, or for questions, contact Sam Grillo at firstname.lastname@example.org.
