Pathways of History Tour

April 30 @ 10:00 am - May 1 @ 4:00 pm

Free

Travel back in time to an 18th-century Quaker Meeting House, an early 19th-century farming community or a mid-19th-century Methodist Camp Meeting, all within Morris County, during this year’s “Pathways of History Tour.” This free, two-day event on Saturday, April 30, and Sunday, May 1, will feature 27 museums and sites representing the themes of New Jersey and the histories of immigration/migration; Native Americans of New Jersey, past and present; and historic preservation. Visit www.pathwaysofhistorynj.net for the hours and day each site is available plus a tour guide, including site listings and their planned activities in printable and mobile formats. Morris County Historical Society’s Acorn Hall will be closed on Sunday, May 1, in support of local all-volunteer-run museums. From Long Valley to Ledgewood, Chester to Chatham, the weekend-long family friendly event offers something for everyone.
