Save the Date! Taunton High School’s AP US History Student Exhibit Opening
June 11 EDTFree
Working with the OCHM staff, students from Taunton High School’s AP U.S. History Class create their own exhibition, from idea to opening reception and beyond.
They are given a topic, a budget and a 5-week crash course addressing issues specific to a temporary museum exhibition, such as deadlines, installation requirements, evaluation and curatorial and educational goals.
Students select the objects, complete the historical research, design and install the exhibition, create and implement a public relations campaign, write interpretive labels and host a public opening reception.
On view in the first floor gallery, free with regular admission, come see their work!
