The Dickens Festival Holiday Craft Fair
Joins us for the 25th Annual Dickens Festival Holiday Craft Fair, a beloved Braintree tradition.
Held on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, All Souls Church is transformed into a festive Victorian marketplace decked out for the holidays. The festival offers our community the gift of a traditional holiday experience filled with fun and cheer.
The Dickens Festival is a unique entertainment and shopping experience with something for the young and young at heart. Admission is free!
Interact with costumed characters from “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens and join in with our Carolers who gather several times throughout the day.
Visit our marketplace featuring 22 of the best local artisans selling handmade items. Shop at Great Expectations, featuring new and a re-giftable quality items.
Take home an apple pie from our pies by guys baking crew. Pie by-the-slice will also be available for purchase at the lunch counter — perfect after enjoying a roast turkey sandwich with stuffing and cranberry sauce made in our own kitchen.
Stock up on baked goods and take a chance on some fantastic raffles for gift certificates and items donated by area merchants. This year we are offering a special Plymouth family adventure raffle valued at $500.
Top off your day with a visit with Father Christmas, Santa, for free — just bring your camera. He will be seated in his chair on the steps of our artisan marketplace near the Christmas tree from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 2:30 p.m. He is great with persons of all ages and abilities.
