    1. Hello Lewis. Feel free to reach out to our knowledgeable travel team at (800) 222-7448. They will be able to help you directly with specific travel options. Thank you!

  1. Seattle to Seattle was superb Sat in, Sat out. on July 4 week for max wildflowers, minimum rain. Filled cooler at a 450 likes grocery near Mariner Stadium, and by 2pm, we were walking through snow 200 feet from the parking lot at Mt. Rainier Lodge. (Play the long shot, if hotel is booked, no harm in asking in person, you might get lucky, we did!) Drove south to Mt. St Helens (40yrs and blown down trees still floating), continued through Glen Pinchot National Forest onto the Columbia River Gap (300 Eagles), Bonneville Dam tour, famous Pfreim Brew Pub, while you wait you watch windsurfers always windy river. Opt Portland overnite, or north to Olympic NP (Nat Park pass $80 admits everyone in car). One rain forest has largest of 5 tree species, but allltime favorite was The Hoh Valley (it’s like Bali, lush, everything moss covered, and when a tree falls, 100 seedlings sprout on it, wet enough it starts without soil. 2 1/2 miles of handicap access trails, jaw dropping trees growing on trees. They reroute airplanes to preserve Silence. All trees are 300′ high. Do stay in MoClips at “Ocean Crest” resort, order Crab Pancakes for breakfast! Walk down to ocean, or drive on the beach yourself. Ruby Beach on ocean (all free with National park Pass). Went to NW corner of North America Flattery Point walk to ocean but buy the Native American $10 parking pass–they tow) see more odd swoopy trees, yellow slugs, cormorants and whales.), Oceanside beaches are littered with whitened logs, but stay over on Puget Sound in Seiku (to experience Population of 27!) fishing village w mascot dress-wearing salmon, wake looking across to Canada over 100 fishing boats. Back in Olympic NP: Solduc (double) Falls (see leaves bigger than hands), Hurricane Ridge (hair sideways while watching 180 degrees snowcapp mountains, ranger walks are free and teaches you a lot; Port Townsend has great coffeeshops + HAUNTED Hotel Manressa, Victorian decor. Nearby seaplane rides, out and over orcas! If passported, cross to Vancouver and see Blauschart Gardens, possibly best in the hemisphere! (might need ticket ahead). NOTE: if highways say “FERRY”, it will impact your arrival time on other side. We opted to head south to Seattle stopping at Tacoma Glass Museum staged to watch internationally famous glassmakers with stadium seating, big screen tv and superb gift shop, you won’t find elsewhere! On display were glassworks made from children’s drawings–how empowering! Then Seattle has Chihuly Museum of Glass, near Space Needle. Also children’s museum, sculpture park, breweries while you wait for flight home. (SURE I WOULD LOVE TO INSIDE-SCOOP OTHER DESTINATIONS FOR YOU!) We recently did Glacier/Bryce/Zion and Las Vegas for Cirque in a week. REI informed us a montana company will rent us walking poles at a billboard, yup! Almost any camping equipment you’d want, a company puts it in your rental bin, they tell you it’s loaded and give you a code to retrieve your renteds; just bring it back! Tents, chairs, stoves, lights, boats, fishing poles…No humans in sight, what a business! REI in Whitefish or Kallispel, MT told us about it.

  2. Looking for information of the The Great Smokey Mountains, that we will be visiting in June of next year. Maps and
informational stuff for the national park would be fantastic! Thank You

    1. Hi John, we’ve forwarded your comment to our Travel team. You should be hearing from someone soon. Thanks for reading! -Marisa

  3. You forgot to mention visiting the Martin Luther king museum and memorial in Memphis where he was shot. It was fascinating

    1. Lowell MA was home to many fabric mills, still tourable, and there is a Quilt Museum and shops that can lead you to the maps you’re looking for. I’ll never forget the sensation waking into Portsmouth Fabric Company (NH), parallel to Market…my eyes hurt from the brilliance, the variety, shocked me! Books and classes with noteworthy professionals. And any Maine woman glazes over when you mention Mardens (I walked out with small quantities to 1/2 yards of 40 fabrics for $30. Batik to solids to scenic, a bit hit or miss, always a deal. There are 7 Mardens in Maine with clothing, housewares, outdoor, shoes…oh yaaa shoes!)

  4. If possible, day trips from eastern, Dover, Massachusetts and return for Lighthouse and waterfall photographs…Thank you
