What is the price of your hearing aids?
My new NEO MD hearing aids cost me about $300 a pair, which is about 1/10th what I understand regular hearing aids cost these days. I’m not ready to pay some $3K to $6K for a pair of hearing aids — can’t afford those rediculously high prices!
However, I can’t say I’m overjoyed with my new hearing aids. Maybe I just have to get used to them (the owners manual suggests that there is a waiting period while my brain gets used to this new device in my ears).
I guess I’d be willing to try out one of your new-era hearing aids. (The rechargeable battery feature is one I’d like.) But you need to know that I’m turning 88 years next week, I’m retired, and I have a decent amount of retirement income but not an excessive amount. I’m not prepared to take out a second mortgage to afford anyone’s hearing aids.
