Old-School AAA TripTik Still Delivers

A stressful drive to Florida convinced Denise A. and her husband of Westborough, Massachusetts, that they needed a better way home. A AAA member service counselor mapped out the best route.

After an absolutely horrendous drive to Florida from Massachusetts at the end of February, we knew we needed a new route home for the return trip.

We were lucky to find a AAA branch in St. Augustine, Florida, and we explained our plight to Robin, a member service counselor who greeted us at the front door.

Robin sat down with us, showed us all our options for the return trip, mapped out pros and cons and showed us how to find locations along the way that had amenities such as hotels, restaurants and more. Once we decided on our route, she put together a TripTik and highlighted the route on a paper map!

With a GPS that refused to reroute, the TripTik was invaluable. We had the most enjoyable and stress-free drive back to Massachusetts. I’m holding on to that TripTik! Paper maps still work!”
