3 Thoughts on “Essential Baking Supplies for Your Home Bakery

  1. OVEN THERMOM OMETER! Most people will get a HOT FLASH when they find out their true temperature.

  2. Please keep in mind many are now on a limited budget due to COVID and things like expensive cake mixers are bypassed for the basic mixing spoon. Also; many do not have adequate storage space for cumbersome equipment. Perhaps budget -minded items like single baking pans vs “TV personality brand” sets would could be listed.
It’s a great idea to highlight items that can be inspiration for “Bunker Living” diversions and subsequently the delight of home baked comfort food.

    1. Glass or plastic mixing bowls are better suited for mixing dough for sourdough breads. The sourdough starter doesn’t react well in metal bowls. Same with wooden and plastic mixing spoons instead of metal tools. Another need: Iron Dutch ovens with tight-fitting lids. They are indispensable for cooking and baking.
